    High Point Solutions is pleased to announce the formal launch of a new sports and entertainment practice, with a focus on offering IT services to teams, sponsors, vendors and other entities involved in the industry.

    “This business is helping organizations navigate their way toward the best fan experience out there through technology”,said Mike Mendiburu, President of High Point Solutions.

    Nine-years ago High Point partnered with, what was then, the New Jersey Nets, starting with sponsorship in the Izod Center. The relationship has grown over time, resulting in High Point winning a major piece of business for technology services when the club moved to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn two years ago.     High Point’s relationship with the Nets has truly helped in creating a niche for High Point within sports and entertainment, allowing the launch of this dedicated practice.

    Chip Foley, the former Vice president of technology for Forest city Ratner and the 2-year-old Barclays center, is on board to lead the expansion as Vice President of sports and entertainment.

    High Point Solutions announced today that it has one again achieved a Customer Satisfaction Excellence Gold Star from Cisco, in both the US and UK.  This designation recognizes High Point Solutions for delivering outstanding customer service to customers in both the US and UK.

    Customer satisfaction excellence is a core value for High Point and a key driver for current and future success.

    Cisco measures the customer satisfaction levels achieved by its Gold, Silver, and Premier Certified partners based on regional target goals, providing a weighted average of a partner’s pre- and post-sales support over a rolling 12-month period. Partners that achieve outstanding customer satisfaction are awarded the Customer Satisfaction Excellence Gold Star and can be found using the advanced search menu in the Cisco Partner Locator.

    High Point Solutions’ partnership with Cisco continues to grow with High Point’s latest achievement highlighting their strength and capabilities in understanding and selling Cisco services. See below Cisco’s announcement on High Point achieving this award:

    In FY12, High Point Solutions received the Breakaway Partner of the year award and in FY13, High Point continued to grow their business by 51% Y/Y. However, their greatest growth was in selling Cisco Services where their business grew 110 % Y/Y  of which, over 50% was in Multiyear business.

    Their sales teams are very closely aligned with Cisco’s Services teams, and they understand and clearly articulate the value of Cisco Services.  They conduct regular joint account planning meetings, with their Cisco counterparts, to maximize the Services opportunities in each of their accounts for both Technical Services & Advanced Services.

    They are also well positioned to take advantage of Cisco’s SMART Services and continue to growth their Services business.

    In mid-2012 High Point Solutions was selected for a WAN refresh by the client. This project encompassed over 100 sites spread across the globe with the replacement of old WAN hardware and the implementation and migration of a WAN optimization solution. High Point’s existing relationship with the client and Cisco – the hardware infrastructure provider
    – enabled this project to run smoothly and provide little interruption to client activities. By leveraging High Point’s global capabilities, strong Cisco certified engineering background, and global staging facilities this project had all the right components to be most effective.
