Inside Sales Representative – US

Job Description

The Inside Sales Team is responsible for supporting HighPoint Customers as well as facilitating the sales lifecycle in partnership with HighPoint Account Managers. Additionally, Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for sales support related activities (both pre and post sale) to ensure overall customer satisfaction. This includes but isn’t limited to activities enabling both sales and customer service. This is a full-time, salaried position based in Sparta, New Jersey that will report into the Sales Organization. The primary responsibilities for Inside Sales are:

– Support existing customers and Account Managers by performing quoting, deal registration, and CRM information management for all opportunities

– Process orders that have been won and ensure timely and accurate processing of those orders

– Communicate and assist customers with new orders (upsell and small transactions)

– Support customer service requests from customers relating to any problems or concerns surrounding orders, shipping, and RMAs

– Provide high quality customer service to ensure high customer satisfaction levels enabling “an unwillingness on our customers part to do business without us”

– Keen attention to detail to enable accurate and error free work products that can be delivered with pride

– Proven experience in a customer facing role and providing customer service

– Excellent written and verbal presentation skills

– Excellent computer skills including expertise with Excel, PDF, Word, PowerPoint, CRM systems such as Sales Force, as well as order processing tools

– Basic business understanding of margin, profitability, and cost recovery

– Understanding of concepts such as shipping, tax, and other common commerce-based fees

Skills not required but are a plus:

– Knowledge of quoting, purchase orders, delivery timing, drop shipping

– Introductory knowledge of data center, managed network, security services, network/security hardware and software, and IT services

– Ability to learn various product lines and describe technical features and value differentiation

– Understanding of the IT Solutions Sales process within a Business to Business environment
