IT Asset Management Associate

Role Description

This role reports to the IT Asset Management Supervisor and will primarily focus on Customer Driven Inventory Management Projects. Once inventory is received, employee will sort and re-bundle the inventory based on latest requirements and prepare bundled packages for domestic and global distribution. Responsibilities include attending bi-weekly logistics/inventory management calls, maintaining inventory levels in SharePoint, equipment asset tagging, document customer requests for monthly invoicing, and other logistics related duties. This role will also be tasked with the completion of ad-hoc projects and research on strategic initiatives as directed by management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate warehouse inventory control for HighPoint customers

  • Order, track, and report inventory and deliveries

  • Correspond with customers and report client requests

  • Assist other team members when needed to meet schedules

  • Work with managers and team members to implement new strategies and initiatives

  • Inform management of ongoing performance issues

  • Track and communicate shipment details, locations, ETAs to clients daily

  • Work onsite, in a warehouse environment

  • Asset tagging of Customer equipment as requested

  • Preparation of equipment for shipping (loading/wrapping/strapping)

  • Clear and timely communication (verbal and written) internally and with client

  • Work with couriers and third-party services to assist customers with late, lost, or damaged items

  • Adherence to ISO standards

  • Maintain clean and organized work area

Requirements

  • High School graduate or above

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, transportation, logistics, business, or related field (preferred)

  • 1-3 years previous experience with industry procedures, costs, and terms (preferred)

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds

  • Experience working in a collaborative, team environment and sharing team success

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
