Logistics Associate & Staging Support

Role Description

This role is critical in maintaining the high standards that define our reputation. The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring efficient logistics operations, excellent communication with customers, and the professional presentation of our facilities and services.

The role is primarily based within the warehouse and staging environment, with close collaboration across the sales and finance teams. The position includes a combination of administrative, logistical, and operational responsibilities, as well as coordination with internal departments and external customers.

The role will involve ensuring that processes, procedures, tools, and systems effectively support the evolving needs of the organisation.

This position is based in Schiphol-Noord, Netherlands, reporting to the Warehouse & Facilities Manager. The role will also work closely with the UK team based in Greenford, who provide ongoing support, training, and collaboration through daily communication and monthly site visits.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team. Occasional travel to the UK may be required.

Duties & Responsibilities

Warehouse & Logistics Operations

    • Support the daily operation of the logistics, warehouse, and staging environment.
    • Conduct daily inspections of incoming materials, supplies, and equipment, verifying delivery documentation against purchase orders.
    • Inspect shipments for damage or defects and report any issues to the manager and/or sales team.
    • Manage inventory and coordinate stock movements, including customer IT Asset Management (ITAM) services.
    • Support staging activities including build, testing, and configuration of equipment.
    • Maintain accurate records for: Warehouse inventory
    • Inbound deliveries
    • Outbound shipments
    • Export licenses
    • Staging activity

Shipping & Coordination

    • Coordinate outbound shipments with internal teams and external freight partners.
    • Liaise with freight providers to obtain shipping quotations for the sales team when required.
    • Assist with the safe movement and storage of inventory in accordance with company guidelines.

Compliance & Standards

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.
    • Maintain awareness and adherence to health & safety and fire safety procedures.
    • Support warehouse organisation and cleanliness, including workstation standards.
    • Assist with general facilities management tasks, including warehouse upkeep and waste services.

Cross-Functional Support

    • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient operational processes.
    • Assist the UK/US Account teams in resolving escalated sales issues when required.
    • Provide operational support as needed across the business as requirements evolve.

Requirements

  • Secondary school qualifications (or equivalent) with 3–5 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse, or operational support role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint, etc.) and stock management systems.
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to manage daily inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
  • Experience exporting goods from the EU is desirable but not essential.
  • Reach truck license is beneficial but not required.
